Mulled Wine

Take a sip of the holidays

Fall and Winter don’t only call for fun food, but fun drinks too! Mulled wine is basically spiced wine, enhanced with cinnamon, cloves, orange and more! This wine is fantastic to make for just you or a whole party. 

Serves 6 people. 

Ingredients:

1 (750mL) Bottle Cabernet Sauvignon or Full Bodied Red Wine

2 Cups (480mL) Apple Cider

¼ Cup (80g) Honey

1 Small Orange Peel (15g) 

2 Tbs (10g) Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice

3 Cinnamon Sticks

5 Whole Cloves 

Directions:

1.     In a large saucepot over medium heat on the stove, add all of the ingredients and stir with a wooden spoon to make sure they’re mixed. 

2.     Bring to a simmer, then lower the heat and continue to simmer for 20 minutes, then serve!
